It is a true ecological sanctuary, rich in wildlife that inhabits these types of ecosystems. Moorhens, sea ducks, grey herons, sandpipers and even monkeys can be observed feeding themselves on tropical fruits in the middle of lush vegetation. There are organized tours in canoes linking the coast to the interior of the island, traversing between lush vegetation tufts.
